Executive committee
The Executive Committee meets at least twice a month and its
missions are essentially to:
define policy,
debate, discuss and decide on strategic
and operational options,
follow the activity of the Company’s different
operational units and the evolution of financial elements (budgets, cash position),
define the main projects
and monitor their progress
The Executive Committee is also responsible for defining, formalizing and communicating the fundamental
values of the company and to ensuring that they are adhered to.

Thierry Jean is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cerep.
He has been a director and Chairman of the Board since he founded Cerep in 1989.
His appointment expires following the Ordinary general meeting convened to approve the financial
statements for the fiscal year ending December 2011.
Before creating Cerep SA, Thierry Jean was a research fellow at CNRS. A Doctor of Biochemistry and a Paris
University graduate, Dr Jean completed a three-year post-doctorate program at the National Cancer Institute
in Bethesda, Maryland.
Other responsabilities: Member of the Board of Spin-X (Switzerland).

Jean-Paul Boulan has been a board member since 1989;
His appointment expires following the Ordinary General Meeting convened to approve
the financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 2010.
Jean-Paul Boulan has over twenty years experience as Program Manager then as Director
of Participations with several risk capital firms (Sofinnova, Opportune finance,
OTC Asset management, ...).
Other responsabilities: Manager of JPB Gestion SARL, member of Supervisory board of
Modelabs SA, and member of the consultative
committee of OTC AM.

Monique Capron |

Monique Capron has been a board member since 2006 ;
Her appointment expires following the Ordinary General Meeting convened to approve
the financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 2011.
A Doctor in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monique Capron has dedicated her scientific carrier
to immunology of communicable diseases and inflammation. Her work has led to a series
of fundamental discoveries concerning cytotoxicity mechanisms, the identification of
antibody classes and the intervention of membrane receptors for IgE and IgA in
interactions between eosinophils and antibodies.
Monique Capron is currently Professor at Institut Pasteur and Professor of
Immunology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Lille 2 University.
She heads Inserm Unit U995.
She has authored over 300 scientific publications and been awarded prestigious
distinctions during her career. Monique Capron is a member of several learned societies.

Sandrine Dufour |

On February 12, 2009, Cerep appointed Mrs Sandrine Dufour as Board Member of the
Company; Her appointment expires following the Ordinary General Meeting convened to approve the financial
statements for the fiscal year ending December 2011.
Sandrine Dufour is Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Vivendi Group and Chairman of Vivendi Mobile Entertainment.
Sandrine Dufour joined Vivendi in 1999 and was formerly Special Advisor to Vivendi's Chief Financial Officer,
Chief Financial Officer of VU Net as well as Vivendi's Senior Vice President in charge of Internal Audit and
Special Projects, based in New York. Before joining Vivendi, she was a financial analyst with BNP and Cheuvreux.
Other responsabilities: Member of the Audit committee of Maroc Telecom SA (Morocco).

Frédéric Revah |

Frédéric Revah has been a board member since 2008; His appointment expires following the Ordinary General Meeting
convened to approve the financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 2013.
Frédéric Revah is Chief Excutive Officer of Genethon, a non-profit organization for biotherapy which is concentrating
on the development of innovative therapeutics for the treatment of orphan genetic diseases. He brings over 20 years'
experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and academic research to the job. Genethon notably benefits
from his acknowledged expertise in the management of therapeutic innovation.
Immediately prior to joining Genethon in January 2010, he had been Chief Executive Officer of the oncology start-up Sepal Pharma since 2008.
Before that, he had served as Chief Scientific Officer at Cerep from 1999 to 2007, and Chief Executive Officer
of the oncology subsidiary of the Group. At Cerep, he took several molecules into the clinic.
Prior to his time at Cerep, he was Head of the Gene Therapy Department in the Central Nervous System and Neurochemistry Department
at Rhône Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi-aventis) from 1992 to 1998.
Frédéric Revah started his career as an associate staff researcher at the Pasteur Institute (from 1990 to 1992). He obtained his
doctorate at the Pasteur Institute/University of Paris V in 1991 and is a graduate (1985) of the elite Ecole Polytechnique engineering school.
